Space Pen

from 23.00

In 1965 Paul Fisher invented this pen for use by astronauts. In 1967, after rigorous testing, NASA selected the pressurized Fisher Space Pen for use on the Apollo Missions and the pens continue to be used on all manned space flights. This ballpoint pen will write dependably smooth upside down, underwater, over grease, in extreme cold and hot temperatures and has an estimated shelf-life of 100 years!

AND Space Pens are elegant and made in the USA.

Available in CHROME and RAW BRASS.  The RAW BRASS finish is an Imogen Jones favorite – over time the unfinished surface will develop a patina that tells the story of its use and travels.

Approximately 3.75" in length when closed and a comfortably sized 5.25" when open with cap mounted on top as pictured. Refillable.

Also pictured Engraved Skull and Crossbones Notecards, Engraved Lightening Bolt Notecards and one dreamy Notebook.
